Nice to e-meet you
Nice to e-meet you. My name is Simone Cimminelli., and I am a 43-year-old Italian based in London and the proud father of Aria and Allegra. I have been managing my family office since 2010 and have been an angel investor since 2015.
As I look back on my life and connect the dots, it seems inevitable that I would end up on the path of angel investing. As a child, my father was my hero. He was a successful entrepreneur who rose from humble beginnings to achieve great success.
Investing in people like my father, who have great potential, strong work ethic, and unbeatable resilience, is a great privilege for me.
In addition to my admiration for entrepreneurship, I have always been deeply passionate about technology. I have been using computers all my life and still remember my first experiences with BBS, the Amiga, floppy disks, and playing Mario Bros. The first time I downloaded an erotic image on a slow modem is also still etched in my memory. Every line of that JPEG appearing on my screen was a thrilling moment.
And so this is me. A 40 something Italian in London, a family man, an angel investor, and a believer in great talent and technology. It's nice to meet you.
